The Making
Hand-woven, hand-finished
Woven by hand in a small atelier outside Dakar from raffia palm, then trimmed and finished in our Senegal workshop with full-grain calfskin in deep bordeaux.
A piece that bridges craft and luxury — the same hand that has woven baskets for generations, joined to the precision of fine leather work.
Limited release — by appointment
Each piece is reserved through the studio directly.
Vegetable-tanned leather lives. Keep from prolonged sunlight and water. Condition once per season with the house wax, supplied with each piece. Marks of use are not flaws.
Insured worldwide shipping in archival linen and cedar. Reserved pieces may be exchanged within fourteen days. Made-to-order pieces are final.
Each piece is signed and numbered by the artisan who made it. A certificate of origin, hand-lettered, accompanies every object.
