The Making
Hand-cut, hand-stitched, hand-finished
Magenta is the colour of bougainvillea against a white wall. It is the most demanding tone we work with — every imperfection in the leather shows, so only the cleanest hides make it through.
Cut, sewn, edged and waxed by a single artisan. The finish is buffed by hand until the surface reads as one continuous plane of colour.
Limited release — by appointment
Each piece is reserved through the studio directly.
Vegetable-tanned leather lives. Keep from prolonged sunlight and water. Condition once per season with the house wax, supplied with each piece. Marks of use are not flaws.
Insured worldwide shipping in archival linen and cedar. Reserved pieces may be exchanged within fourteen days. Made-to-order pieces are final.
Each piece is signed and numbered by the artisan who made it. A certificate of origin, hand-lettered, accompanies every object.
